In recent years, the 2.6-mile long Lafitte Greenway has made the area even more accessible - you can rent a Blue Bike (pictured) and get from Mid-City to the French Quarter in fifteen minutes. Mid-City is also famous for its cemeteries. Clustered at the intersection of Canal Street and City Park Avenue, they are some of the oldest in New Orleans.
